Exhaust bracket to weld on Clubmans for early engines with no bolt hole, MB
This is a universal steel bracket which also has a number of other applications.
Mainly it's ideal to use on an early type engine (S1, 2, 3) that has no bolt lug cast into the casing for a standard type exhaust.
It's very important that this bracket is used other wise the main exhaust becomes weak.
The 1960's factory idea was to drill and tap a hole on the underside casting lug, this bracket can then be welded to the original exhaust to make it stronger.
This is a stronger thicker mild steel bracket from MB.
