Lambretta Stepped stud, 7 to 8mm - 12x8x9mm, gearbox endplate, standard type, MB

Made for MB Scooters this stepped oversize gearbox end plate stud from 8mm to 7mm has a little more thread for the casing and also for a fatter stronger nut with a spring washer.

Total length is 29mm

If the threads are gone then you need a timesert or a helicoil which are expensive.

This is a stronger and cheap way to repair the end plate studs.

Made from high tensile steel and are self coloured.

Drill the hole to 6.9mm then tap out the damaged thread to 8 x 1.25mm to the dept required and then fit the stepped stud with loctite.
