Lambretta Stepped stud, 8 to 10mm - 20x11x17mm, Lambretta crankcase side swan-neck, stainless steel, MB

A MB stepped oversized stud to repair a damaged crankcase side 8mm thread.

If the thread has gone you could fit a Timesert or helicoil, but these cost more money, here is a simple way to repair the casing from MB.

Drill the casing hole to 8.7mm then tap out the casing to 10 x 1.5mm thread to the correct depth then loctite and screw the stud into place.

Sizes are 10 x 1.5mm to 8 x 1.25mm, 20 x 11 x 17mm.

A much cheaper repair.
