with the 6mm allen cap screws (Indian version) - are these not loose in the hole in the ring? ie the hole also has to accept 7mm allen cap screws which would be tighter fit. Thanks Marcus

You could either drill and tap out your hub to 7mm or when you tighten the nut, do it so the locking plate is tight to the nut flats and hole for the screw so nothing is loose
