1. Allen Cap (socket Cap) Screws 21 Parts
Allen cap screws need an allen key to do them up. They are ideal as a nice looking alternative to hex set or pan head screws, for example on a crankcase side or a flywheel cowling. Also they may deter the casual thief as any screw can be undone with a screwdriver or adjustable spanner whereas not everyone carries allen keys around. The length refers to the length of the threaded section only. The other size is the thread size NOT the size of the allen key for adjusting it. As a guide the following information may be helpful. A 5mm allen cap screw needs a 4mm allen key. A 6mm allen cap screw needs a 5mm allen key. A 7mm allen cap screw needs a 5mm allen key. An 8mm allen cap screw needs a 6mm allen key. A 10mm allen cap screw needs an 8mm allen key. A 6mm countersunk socket screw needs a 4mm allen key.

2. Cheese Head Screws 18 Parts
It is easy to confuse cheese head screws with pan head screws but comparing the two you can see that a cheese head has a taller head and is more squared off. The head is narrower than on a pan head. The length of these screws refers to the length of the threaded section, not the whole screw.

3. Countersunk Socket Screws 4 Parts
Countersunk socket screws have a flat countersunk head so they are suitable for use where space is an issue or where you want a nice finish. The length of these screws refers to the length of the whole screw not just the threaded section. They need an allen key to do them up. For the 6mm ones we sell you would need a 4mm allen key.

4. Pan Head Screws 11 Parts
It is easy to confuse pan head screws with cheese head screws but comparing the two you can see that a pan head has a more domed rounded head. The head is slightly wider than a cheese head. The length of these screws refers to the length of the threaded section, not the whole screw.

5. Raised Countersunk Screws 21 Parts
Raised countersunk screws have a slightly domed head which is the same as a lot of fasteners as used by Innocenti. The length of these screws refers to the length of the whole screw not just the threaded section.
