Paul B on 13 Jun 2020 asked "Hi Mark Just wondering if there is a known issue with uni side casings as my new spring is catching on the strengthening ribs? The shaft is SIL and appears well made. I’ve tried a Scootopia spring and had a same issue (theirs kinks in too early and catches straight away, yours is much better at least almost makes it to the ramp). Thought I’d ask before I shell out for another shaft. Is there a work around, maybe grind a bit off the shaft where the spring goes in to raise it up a bit! Thanks for the super fast delivery by the way, good service as always. Thanks, Paul "

MB Scooters Ltd replied: Some SIL kickstarts are drilled wrong and too close so you get this issue. Or keep it and do what I do and grind a groove in the side casing ribs to stop the spring from popping out
