This is a complete MB Shorty Reed valve assembly kit to suit 200cc Oval ported cylinders.

This version comes with the Malossi flange mounting rubber fit allows the carb to breath through the standard air filter box using a GP200 air bellows (carb needs a 90 degree cable elbow and the air box will need drilling to allow enough air in)

Comes complete with these parts

• Cast reed manifold, with long screw, stud, gaskets, nut, washers, spare MB carbon reed petals
• Reed Cage 6 Petal (block) 
• Malossi reed rubber adaptor for 26-30mm Dellorto PHBH (needs GP type head cowl)

• All Large Block cast iron cylinders
• Race-Tour cylinders
• Rapido Cylinders
• Mugello cylinders
• Doesn't fit the Avanti

TIP - Silicone seal the rubber in place.

Cylinders need reed valve tuning and a boost port adding to the cylinder. The piston needs modiying for reed for 360 degrees timing and the manifold needs matching to the cylinder inlet port. Some fins need removing for this reed assembly to fit, the head cowling will need modfiying and ideally use a Gp type head cowl.

This is not a straight fit to a standard cylinder, of course MB can tune and do the work for you, if required.

TIP; Always fit a carb dry, if youre jetting in the bike and constantly removing the carb - wipe clean and dry the rubber and the carb. Always use wide jubilee clips! Tighten just so the carb doesnt move side to side by hand to prevent rubbers slitting. Always carry a spare and if you can bond some rubber onto the cowling to support the carb.
