Lambretta Thread repair insert 7-10 x 20mm, alloy, MB

A simple thread insert made by MB Scooters Ltd.

Ideal for Lambretta end plate stud hole threads that have totaly gone where helicoils or timeserts can't be used.

Drill 8.5/8.7mm and tap the hole to 10 x 1.5mm, fit the insert on a 6mm screw and wind into the threaded hole with some loctite.

Becareful to tap the correct depth so the insert is locked tightly in the threads flush with the end plate face.
