A complete carburettor kit.

This suits all Series 1, 2 and 3 Lambrettas.

Comes with

  • Carb stripped and pre jetted
  • Spare jets to fine tune the motor
  • Cable choke conversion
  • MB tea strainer filter (can also fit with an air filter box which will need drilling)
  • MB Gasket
  • MB Flange type Inlet manifold and special bolt
  • MB Flange Viton carb rubber
  • Carb rubber clips
  • Large float valve

Jets supplied;

  • 55 Idle Jet fitted (spare 50)
  • 128 Main Jet fitted (spare 125, 120, 115)
  • AV 264 Atomiser fitted (spare AV266)
  • X13 Needle fitted (spare X7, X7/13, X13/2, X2)

It gives slightly better fuel economy than the 30mm version at the expense of a little bit of top-end speed.

More suited to milder tunes.

Suits all 200/210/215/220/225/230/240 cast type cylinders and all Race-Tour RT 195/200 and 200/205 cylinders.

John on 12 Feb 2024 asked "Hi, I have the RT225, an expansion tour type pipe, and used 90% of the time in the city. With 5.2 ratio. Is the 28mm ok / better for this then the 30mm ? Obviously want better fuel consumption then top end speed. Thank you"

MB Scooters Ltd replied: Our carb kits come pre jetted, but jetted rich and they come with spare jets to weaken off and set up your motor. Our jetting instructions are on our Tech-Site

MB Scooters Ltd replied: This kit should be perfect, but ideally you need to measure the inlet holes center to center as these kits vary it may have a small or large block inlet stud spacing
