Lambretta Race-Tour Headset (handlebar) dropped, chopper or straight handle bar Gear change, MB

MRB0285K

We developed this item when we were involved in group 6 racing (special class).

It is ideal for any scooter with straight, dropped or chopper type bars.

It now uses a short dog legged clutch lever but we also have a longer Yamaha lever for extra leverage.

It fits 22mm (7/8) bars.

A product designed by Mark Broadhurst.

Easy to fit

  • Offer up the gearchange clamp into position and nip up the screws
  • Slide on the shim/s
  • Slide on the main twisting part
  • Slide up the pivot sleeve
  • Mark the bottom of the sleeve and drill through both sides of the bars so the cotter pin fits through, then cut and tab over the cotter pin so the grip can be pushed on
  • When you are happy with your positioning, grease everything that moves, undo the end cap and offer up the cables then tighten the end cap tight
