Yamaha reed block, TS1 including modifications


This is a Yamaha type reed block.

We strip it down and turn it down in a lathe to help it fit a TS1 cylinder.

It comes complete with standard reeds which are very hard wearing and work very well with a all round power spread.

We offer Boyesen dual stage reeds as an option.

A Mark Broadhurst design used for over 20 years.

PHIL on 14 Nov 2010 asked "I have a question about "Yamaha reed block, TS1 including modifications"WILL THIS FIT STRAIGHT INTO A TS1 225 BARREL OR WILL I HAVE TO MODIFY BARREL,,I GOT A YAM REED BLOCK WITH BARREL,BUT THE REED STOPS FOUL THE BARREL AND WONT LET IT SIT FLUSH ON TOP OF PACKING PLATE,,,"

MB Group, Serious Outdoors Ltd replied: If you use our 5mm reed packer with a gsket either side then the Yamaha Reed block fits no problem.
