Carb inlet manifold for 35mm Mikuni carbs, TS1, MRB

This MRB special Inlet manifold was designed by us after we were having a lot of trouble with standard TS1 manifolds fouling the frame.

People also complained they had to cut a hole in their panel to get their carburettor to fit.

To solve the problem we made a whole new designed manifold which offers better frame clearance and is designed to make sure your carburettor fits under your side panel.

This manifold fits any TS1 cylinder (or Imola/Monza with slight modification) and fits 34mm Mk2 Amal, 30 and 32mm VHSA Dellorto and the more commonly used 35mm TMX Mikuni carburettors.

It comes with an inlet gasket and 2 sets of fasteners to fit it with or without a reed packing plate.

If you are fitting this manifold with the standard TS1 reed block you will need to cut a small notch in the part that fits inside the reed block.

If you are fitting it with an Imola/Monza reed block you will need to remove the two fingers completely.

Tips

PART OF THE RACE-TOUR TUNING PACKAGE

Either use an inlet gasket or Silicone sealer to seal the manifold.
Match the inlet manifold to inlet port and inlet port to inlet manifold for better results.
Tighten inlet screws together.

I have one of thes manifold modified for V-Force reeds fitted to my TS1 230..... What an excellent piece of kit these are... Neat engineering, plenty of clearance - Would highly recommend

Stef on 20 Sep 2011 asked "When fitting this manifold do you still need to use offset frame cones?"

MB Group, Serious Outdoors Ltd replied: Ive never used off set cones in 20 years and these manifolds always fit for me, some times though you may have to trim the manifold if it hits the frame, this is easy to do and there is enough material to do this job.

Steve on 07 Aug 2008 asked "I have a question about "Carb inlet manifold 35mm Mikuni Ts1 MRB" I have a Serveta Jet 200 block with a Rapido 225 kit fitted. However am having problems fitting the carb onto the current carb manifold. Is this item a solution to my problem ?"

MB Group, Serious Outdoors Ltd replied: The TS1 inlet manifold is a totally different manifold to a Rapido manifold, so no it will not be the answer to your problem.

We manufacture various manifolds to suit different carbs that fit with a Rapido barrel.
