Carb inlet manifold for 34mm Dellorto TS1, MRB


This manifold was designed by us after we were having a lot of trouble with standard TS1 manifolds fouling the frame.

People also complained they had to cut a hole in their panel to get their carburettor to fit.

To solve the problem MRB made a whole new manifold which offers better frame clearance and is designed to make sure your carburettor fits under your side panel (on an Amal carburettor you still have to have a hole for the fuel banjo).

This manifold fits any TS1 cylinder (or Imola/Monza with slight modification) and fits 34-39mm VHSB Dellorto carburettors (that use the bigger 2 groove rubber).

It comes with an inlet gasket and 2 sets of fasteners to fit it with or without a reed packing plate.

If you are fitting this manifold with the standard TS1 reed block you will need to cut a small notch in the part that fits inside the reed block.

If you are fitting it with the Imola / Monza reed block you will need to remove the two stuffer fingers completely.

Tips

  • Either use an inlet gasket or Silicone sealer to seal the manifold.
  • Match the inlet manifold to inlet port and inlet port to inlet manifold for better results.
  • Tighten inlet screws together.

Fuzzy on 27 Dec 2008 asked "I have a question about "Carb inlet manifold 34mm Dell'orto Ts1 MRB" HI MARK I WANT TO PUT A 34MM DELORTO FLATSIDE ON TO A 240 MONZA SET UP WOULD I GET AWAY WITH USING THIS MANIFOLD."

MB Group, Serious Outdoors Ltd replied: As the information says this manifold fits the Imola and Monza cylinder.



But you will need to modify it a little depending on what reed block you are using.
