Carb inlet manifold for 30mm Dellorto, TS1, MRB


This manifold was designed by us after we were having a lot of trouble with standard TS1 manifolds fouling the frame.

People also complained they had to cut a hole in their panel to get their carburettor to fit.

To solve the problem we made a whole new manifold which offers better frame clearance and is designed to make sure your carburettor fits under your side panel.

It was also designed to replace the old rubber type Imola manifold after we heard a lot of reports of people having them splitting.

This manifold fits any TS1 cylinder (or mk1/2 Imola and Monza cylinders with slight modifications) and fits 28-30mm PHBH Dellorto, 28mm VHSA Dellorto, 30mm VHSH Dellorto and some of the smaller Keihin and TMX Mikuni carburettors.

It comes with an inlet gasket and 2 sets on fasteners to fit it with or without a reed packing plate.

This manifold fits straight into a Yamaha and BGM reed block.

If you are fitting this manifold with the standard TS1 reed block you will need to cut a small notch and slot in the parts that fit inside the reed block.

If you are fitting it to an Imola / Monza you would need to remove the two "fingers" completely match to the reed block and will only fit with mk1 and 2 versions, it doesn't fit with mk3 where the reed block fits into machined groove.

The spigot size of the manifold is 35mm.

Tips

  • Either use an inlet gasket or Silicone sealer to seal the manifold.
  • Match the inlet manifold to inlet port and inlet port to inlet manifold for better results.
  • Tighten inlet screws together.

MB Group, Serious Outdoors Ltd replied: On the reed side of the inlet manifold there are two 'tongues' to direct the gas flow.

The standard TS1 reed has a little bridge that would fowl so you need to cut a notch in the 'tongues' to stop it from fowling.

If you imagine the tongue as a V then the modified one would look like a W.

In your manifold, they are the airflow include? I dont need to fix the stuffer for air flow? (I don't see the underside of the manifold) Thanks a lot best regards JEan"

MB Group, Serious Outdoors Ltd replied: Our manifold comes with the stuffer as part of the casting.



This fits into the BGM Yamaha reed block but needs modifying for the Imola type reed block.



You have a choice: cut off our stuffer figures and use your stuffer or just fit our manifold.
