Melv on 02 Jul 2009 asked "The factory 225 kit stage 4 will it run a stirling pipe n wot top speed wil it produce with no tuning I'm looking 2 buy 1 very soon "
MB Group, Serious Outdoors Ltd replied: Sorry this is a pipe that we have not tested so we would be guessing.
Rob on 15 Jun 2009 asked "I have a question about "Factory 225 cylinder kit, stage 4 (barrel, head, piston kit) MRB" have you done anything to the barrel if not how much would a properly tuned stage 4 or 5 barrel cost ."
MB Group, Serious Outdoors Ltd replied: We bore out the cylinder, chamfer port edges and generally clean them up but don't go over board as the Indian castings are very poor and requires a lot of time to perfect. As they are they work well, we do offer a fully tuned extra which costs around £200.
Eric W on 22 Jun 2008 asked "Does this kit bolt straight on after fitting a new crank"
MB Group, Serious Outdoors Ltd replied: Yes the cylinder kit bolts straight onto a standard crankshaft with a
standard 107mm con rod and again if you use our better Race-Tour crankshaft
with the 110mm con rod, you just use the packing plate that comes with the
crankshaft.
Heiko D on 22 Jun 2008 asked "I want good Kit for touring and City use. If I use this Race-Tour 225 Kit with the Devtour Exhaut and 30mm Carb do I get more pulling power and lower Revs than a TS1 or RB Kit?"
MB Group, Serious Outdoors Ltd replied: Yes this kit gives bags more low down pulling power and will do as you request.
They usually give between 16 -19hp.
