BMW GS and GSA 1200 fuel relay valve cover, MRB


Designed by Mark Broadhurst after breaking down on the BMW GS1200 when the fuel relay valve was covered in water.

The original design lets the fuel relay to be covered and sit in a bowl of water causing the electrics to short and the bike will not start.

After finding out BMW did a recall for 45,000 GS models Mark looked at the problem and designed a very simple plastic/rubber cover to bond in place stopping water  entering the bowl.

This design also works when driving in rain or left out in the open yet still allows the heat to escape from the relay.
