MB Group, Serious Outdoors Ltd replied: Where the kickstart fits the flange needs machining by 0.5 -1.5mm using this tool MBP0124
Andrew M on 11 Feb 2009 asked "I've heard alot of bad press about some of the later batches of kickstart shafts which haven't been hardened properly and therefore they bend. Can you assure us that the shafts you are selling are not of this batch?"
MB Group, Serious Outdoors Ltd replied: There are many manufacturers of GP kick start shafts around the world.
Our shafts are Genuine SIL Gp shafts and to date we have sold hundreds with no come back.
