Electronic flywheel, standard long fins with welded cam, Gp


We have it on good authority from the man who designed these flywheels that the extra and longer fins didnt aid cooling, but SIL wanted them produced.

This is an Indian GP type flywheel with the fins left as long as standard, but we have weld the boss to reinforce it as this is a weak link if not welded.

TIP! When ever you replace an electrical ignition part always strobe and check timing is correct.

I was worried about the weld process throwing the flywheel out of balance. No need to worry, there is absolutely no problem and I am now well assured that there is little chance that the unit will fall apart at high revs. I would recommend it to everyone for added peace of mind.
