Mark replied: This is not a direct replacement for a standard speedo it is an extra bolt on device. You will need a fuel gauge sender fitting into the tank but you can use the speedo assembly without the fuel gauge working. The speedo runs from a magnet and is fully adjustable to obtain the correct speed depending on tyre used.
