Amongst many applications this fastener can specifically be used as a Lambretta rear hub. It is slightly taller than normal to allow it to be used with any hub/layshaft combination. It can also be used to secure the rear shocker as well as the engine bar.

Mark replied: No it doesn't, we have had no need, if the nut is correctly tightened and lockwasher is fitted nothing will come loose.
