1 Sandy M on 25 Jun 2008 asked "I have a question about "Dot 4, brake fluid 250ml" I am wondering -- Is it possible to use DOT 5 (silicone base) brake fluid instead? Or do you only recommend DOT 4?"

Mark replied: It has been know for DOT 5 to upset seals, DOT 5 does'nt mix with DOT 4. Usually the master cylinder says what grade to use, always stick to it for safety.
