It is a fact that standard Lambretta fuel taps do not flow enough fuel to keep the float bowl topped up with fuel. This can cause intermittent problems with misfires and can even cause a seize. We recommend fitting one of these taps to ANY Lambretta but especially a tuned one. Fitting one will not mean that your fuel consumption will go up as the float needle valve only allows through the fuel it needs.
