Electronic loom (black) 12v, MRB

One of our philosophies with the custom parts we make is to try and make them look like they were there from day one when the scooter was built.

This is the thought behind our electronic looms.

Why go to the trouble of fitting an electronic system if the wiring loom sticks out like a sore thumb.

Our looms features sleeving that makes it look like the original.

It is designed in such a way that you don't need a junction box.

It just connects to your electronic regulator and coil and your rear light, stop switch, horn and headset junction box.

The loom comes with a wiring diagram.

Designed by Mark Broadhurst in the 1980's and now copied by lots.

Does exactly as it says on the tin!!! Service and delivery were first rate, however, the wiring diagram supplied was in black & white! Luckily I had a colour copy so there was no problem with the fitting.

Andy P on 29 Jan 2009 asked "I have a question about "Electronic loom (black) 12v" Hi, I have a sil gp200 with electronic,I want to tidy up the electrics but am slightly confused as there is a vespa cdi, regulator, junction box, and what looks like a normal ht coil. Can I fit this loom so that i can get rid of the junction box/coil and use a ducati cdi with regulator mounted above the rear mudguard? Many thanks and kind regards. Andy"

MB Group, Serious Outdoors Ltd replied: Our loom is a simple plug and play loom.

It works with the Vespa style electronic coil and regulator.

These fit above the mudguard and just plug in with our mounting kit.

Mike on 04 Jan 2009 asked "I have a question about "Electronic loom (black) 12v" Hi Mark am after replacing wiring loom but not sure which one i need, gp TS1,varitronic, do i need this loom? Cheers mate"

MB Group, Serious Outdoors Ltd replied: This loom could work or the AC or DC version, the choice is yours.

Its the Varitronic that is the problem, whatever you do you will need to slightly rewire the loom at the regulator end.

Ben on 07 Dec 2008 asked "I have a question about "Electronic loom (black) 12v" I have a Indian GP150 that I have fitted SIL electronic ignition to. The description of this loom doesn't mention an ignition switch, can it be used with one and if so how much is the igniton switch?"

If you require an ignition switch try either one of these two numbers.

Dave on 04 Jun 2008 asked "I have an Indian GP. The frame is a 150 ??. It has a new GP 200 engine with electronic ignition. Everything works but there are wires hanging down that are not used or needed. I think the old loom may have been for indicators, but I am not sure. It has no battery and i can see a CDI in the rear top by the frame. I want something that is simple and black. I can find the CDI but can't locate a reg? There is a very small black square box mounted on the rear of toolbox? Any suggestions for what to order? Are the diagrams attached with your looms readable for dummies like me? "

MB Group, Serious Outdoors Ltd replied: Hi, this loom is designed to be easy to fit and comes with a wiring diagram.

I would recommend ordering a new electronic regulator to go with this loom as we can be sure it will all work together.
