This item is used to lock your side panels on to discourage the casual thief. You DO need to drill a hole in your panel to fit this item. You need two locks per scooter.

1 Luke O on 22 Jun 2008 asked "When a hole is drilled in side panel to fit lock, where is best place on panel to drill hole? What size hole is to be drilled? Is a diagram of hole dimensions included? Dont mean to sound gay but dont like the idea of drilling a hole into my machine!"

Mark replied: There is no fixed place to mark out the side panel locks. Its a case of offer up the lock to the panel and frame and see where the arm would come underneath, then drill the hole. Its a bit of an engineering job.
