MBD Clutch spider (4/6 plate) MRB


This is our new one piece clutch spider to suit all types of 4, 5 or 6 plate internal clutch kits.

It fits into all standard clutch crownwheels and works with either our MRB deep pressure flange or works with a standard pressure plate either GP or Li, Sx, Tv types.

The spider is deeper to allow extra clutch plates to be used.

Technical

  • Mark Broadhurst and MRB, was the first to produce a fully working mass produced 6 plate clutch kit.
  • Fits all Lambretta engines with no crankcase side packer.
 
 

Development History

  • Designed to cope with our highly tuned motors developed from the 1980's.
  • Early types were tested and proved in the first ever 40 horse powered Lambretta made by Mark Broadhurst.

had to machine down both the rear sprocket and bronze bush to fit, but once in works perfectly. superb quality design and material - hardened so the fingers will not burr / rub on the steels/corks

MB Group, Serious Outdoors Ltd replied: Yes it is different but similar, as the design of this part has been done to be used with standard steel plates, friction plates, pressure plate and crown wheel. Then it has to fit within a casing. This is our new design based on developments of our old 6 plate clutch conversion.
