Arkaitz on 07 Dec 2009 asked "I have a question about "Rear hub bearing, Race-Tour, MRB" Hi. I am putting this bearing into my Spanish engine, but i have some questions: -I can put the bearing with my hand very easy in the engine. Is this normal? -With the bearing inside the engine, the bearing in the inside of the engine looks good, but in the outside, the bearing come out 2mm. Is this a problem? I can send you pics if you need. Thanks for your attention and sorry for my English. Cheers. "
MB Group, Serious Outdoors Ltd replied: Casings do vary old and new. I doubt it is the bearing but if you find it is please return it for inspection. Spanish casings do cause the bearing to sit higher, its not a problem if you carefully set the gearbox up. Be careful not to over tighten the four studs which hold the plates.
S?bastien M on 05 Nov 2008 asked "I have a question about "Rear hub bearing Lambretta" Hello MRB, i've bought one of this new racetour bearing : Is it normal ( and safe ) that a new SIL layshaft could be inserted completely in its location and withdrawn from it by hand ( without tooling or soft hammering ) ? If yes, do you recommend to seal the layshaft inside the inner track with loctite added to the dedicated o ring ? Thank you in advance for your detailed reply Sebastien"
MB Group, Serious Outdoors Ltd replied: On occasions even Innocenti bearings and layshafts do this, when I fit layshafts into rear hub bearings I always loctite the shaft into a bearing and always use a new O ring.
