MB Developments UK Ltd shipping policy
All orders
Your credit card is only charged once your order is fulfilled and is packed and ready to send.
If your credit card is declined we will contact you to ask you to confirm the card details or to provide alternative details.
Your order will normally be processed and sent within one working day of you placing your order.
Items like cylinder kits where specialist tuning work is needed will normally be shipped within 3 weeks. If it is likely to be longer then we will contact you.
If there are any items in your order that will be delayed (i.e. a tuned cylinder kit) or have to go on back order we reserve the right to send as much of the order as we can. We will then save any backordered and delayed items to send in one go afterwards. Backordered items are always sent as cheaply as possible.
Shipments are only dispatched between Mondays and Fridays.
Saturday deliveries can be arranged but are generally very expensive.
Urgent items can be sent to get to you guaranteed by the next day but again this is expensive and such orders must be received by 1pm GMT(Greenwich Meantime).
Domestic shipments (UK, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands)
Orders under 2kg and up to a value of £27 are sent by Royal Mail.
Orders under 2kg with a value over £27 are sent by Royal Mail special delivery.
Orders over 2kg are sent by DHL courier (except Channel Islands which are sent by Parcelforce)
All items are sent for on a .to be signed for. basis. If you cannot be at home to accept a delivery we are happy to send you shipment to your place of work. We can send items by Royal mail on a .non signed for. basis but this is on the understanding that we send the shipment and if it goes missing you will have no comeback.
International shipments (Europe)
We will either use Airmail for small packets or DHL European road service to send your shipment. The road service to Europe takes 3-5 working days.
We can ship your order by an Air service but this costs extra and must be requested at the time of order.
International shipments (North America and Canada)
We will either use Airmail for small packets or Royal mail Parcelforce to send your shipment (or FedEx 10kg and 25kg box service whichever is cheaper). The Parcelforce service to takes 5 to 8 working days. FedEx is generally 2-3 working days.
International shipments (Rest of world)
We will either use Airmail for small packets or Royal mail Parcelforce to send your shipment (or FedEx 10kg and 25kg box service whichever is cheaper). The Parcelforce service to takes 8-10 working days. FedEx is generally 3-5 working days.
Note that for all International shipments, you are liable for any import duty or taxes your shipment may incur. We always send international shipments with an invoice and do not send items with artificially low invoices as this invalidates any insurance claim we may have to make.
Returns policy
At MB Developments we like to think we will be able to send you the very best Lambretta spares available but we are human and mistakes do get made occasionally.
If you have a problem with an item please contact us and we will do our very best to help you.
If you are returning parts you do so on the following understanding:-
- Your return must be sent back to us within 30 days of the day your order shipped.
- We do not refund your costs of sending the item back to us unless it is faulty.
- Shipping charges are not refundable.
- Returned non-faulty items are subject to a 10% handling charge, this is to cover administration and restocking costs.
Please follow the instructions below, or your return may be sent back to you:
- Carefully pack your return items in a box large enough to accommodate all the items. Do NOT return shipments in an envelope.
- Include your original invoice (or a copy) in the box and seal it tightly.
